How does team mode work?

Team mode transforms individual competition into team-based:
  • Participants are assigned to teams (2-8)
  • Individual points sum up to team score
  • Team with the most points wins

Check the “Team mode” option.

Flow in lobby

Player choice

When participant joins:
  1. Sees list of available teams
  2. Sees how many are already in each
  3. Chooses a team
  4. Joins lobby as team member

Random assignment

When participant joins:
  1. System automatically assigns to a team
  2. Balances team sizes
  3. Participant sees their team

Assignment by host

In host’s lobby:
  1. List of all participants on the left
  2. Team columns on the right
  3. Drag participants to teams
  4. Can move between teams

Team ranking

Host can display:
  • Team ranking - total points per team
  • Individual ranking - all participants
  • Team MVP - best player in each team

  • Their team (name, color)

  • Team ranking between questions
  • Team podium at the end

Host view
