# Results and ranking

> How points, ranking and podium work

## Scoring system

You earn points for **correct answers**. The number of points depends on:

* **Game mode** (Standard, Accuracy, Streak, Survival)
* **Answer speed** (in Standard mode)
* **Streak of correct answers** (in Streak mode)

## Scoring modes

### Standard

| Speed            | Points             |
| ---------------- | ------------------ |
| Immediate answer | **100%** points    |
| Half time        | **\~50%** points   |
| Just before end  | **Minimum** points |
| Wrong answer     | 0 points           |

### Accuracy

| Answer    | Effect              |
| --------- | ------------------- |
| Correct   | **+fixed points**   |
| Wrong     | **-penalty points** |
| No answer | 0 points            |

<Warning>
  In this mode, it's better not to answer than to guess!

### Streak

| Streak      | Bonus         |
| ----------- | ------------- |
| 1 correct   | No bonus      |
| 2 in a row  | +10%          |
| 3 in a row  | +20%          |
| 4+ in a row | +30% and more |

One mistake **resets the streak** - you start over.

### Survival

* You start with a set number of **lives** (e.g., 3)
* Each mistake = **-1 life**
* 0 lives = **you're out**
* Points like Standard mode, but you must survive!

## Ranking

### Live ranking

During the quiz you can see:

* Your **current position**
* **How many points** you have
* How far to the next place

### Final ranking

After the quiz ends:

* **Podium** - Top 3 with animation
* **Full ranking** - all participants
* **Your result** - position, points, % correct

## Team mode

If you're playing on a team:

### Team points

* Your points **add up** with team points
* Team can earn **bonuses**:
  * Perfect round: +50 pts (everyone answered correctly)
  * Speed bonus: +25 pts (fastest team)
  * Comeback bonus: +30 pts (advance 2+ places)
  * Team streak: ×1.2 (3 perfect rounds in a row)

### MVP

**MVP** (Most Valuable Player) is the best player on the team - participant with the highest score.

## Podium

At the end of quiz, the podium is displayed:

1. 🥇 **1st Place** - Gold
2. 🥈 **2nd Place** - Silver
3. 🥉 **3rd Place** - Bronze

Podium shows:

* Participant avatar
* Nickname
* Points earned

## Personal statistics

After the quiz you can see:

| Statistic    | Description                  |
| ------------ | ---------------------------- |
| Position     | Your place in ranking        |
| Points       | Total points earned          |
| Correct      | Number of correct answers    |
| % correct    | Accuracy percentage          |
| Average time | Average time of your answers |

## Where to see results

### During quiz

* On screen after each question (feedback)
* In live ranking (if enabled)

### After ending

* Podium and final ranking
* Host may share detailed reports
